Dr. Froula’s commitment to patient care and the clinic’s reputation as a leading practice in the region were what drew him to the organization, and he has remained there ever since.
Dr. Froula received his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota prior to joining University Eye Specialists. He finds his work particularly gratifying as he has the opportunity to help people with impaired vision regain their sight, thanks to advanced technology.
Dr. Froula’s expertise in LASIK surgery has earned him a reputation as the premier LASIK surgeon in the region. Dr. Froula has a passion for biking, golf, and gardening. The family also enjoys their three miniature schnauzers, Presley (a rescue from Memphis), Casper, and J.J.
Dr. Froula is an active member of the International Medical Alliance of Tennessee, which provides medical mission work overseas. He takes great pride in giving back to the community and helping those in need.
